After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.

February 27th After viewing my classmates poster and reading the feedback on my poster, I gained the perspective that my poster  is neat and has multiple images for each figurative language sentence. I also learned my poster is very direct, the font is very clear, and I chose good images. The feedback influenced me to think the creative choices I made are good. I also learned that the creative process is important to make a good poster and takes time.

Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time)

I did the simile and metaphor worksheet, the topic that challenged the most was mental or emotional struggles because I did not have any.

Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

I created similes and  metaphors about my life. I had to make 6 similes. I also had to make 6 metaphors. I worked on my assignment and completed my similes and metaphors. Examples are I am a goose who does not fit in with the ducks and I am as strong as a lion. I learned I am strong when using figurative language about myself.

Prompt: Describe how you spent your time, any activities, traditions, travel, hobbies, or moments that stood out to you. You may also discuss something new you tried, something you learned, or how the break helped you reset before returning to school. Keep your response appropriate for a school setting and focus on experiences you are comfortable sharing publicly

Feb 23  I spent time at home and spent time with family and we went to Islamic school on Sunday. The break helped me get ready to return to school by giving me time to enjoy myself.
