Describe a time when you needed distance from a situation, place, or group of people in order to think more clearly or gain perspective. What did that experience teach you about yourself?

 I had to distance myself from an environment where I was getting bullied and people were fighting. I felt good that I can disengage from the situation and It made me feel better that I was not hearing hurtful comments after disengaging. I learned that disengaging when a situation is stressful helps regulate my emotions.  In short, disengaging is helpful.
